TV SERIES
Wow! I've got to admit that never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that such a series could be made. I mean Norman Bates isnt exactly somebody who we'd like to get to know better or really want to know more about would we? This follows almost directly after emphasis was made on Alfred Hitchcock and his crowning achievement Psycho in the movie Hitchcock.
Norman Bates for us movie junkies is perhaps the original celluloid mentally disturbed character of which many a movie or villain has been imitated or derived from, so it's truly fascinating for us to enter the world of such a character and get to see what made Norman into the man we know him to be.
PLOT
A modern re-imagining and prequel to the movie Psycho (1960). This story begins with the earlier years of a teenage Norman Bates and his mother Norma who live in an old house overlooking the adjoining motel which they are renovating. The house and hotel both come with secrets of their own as does the new town which the Bates' now call home.
