To the fans of Thor who followed his exploits both in the original movie and in Marvel's The Avengers, we are all wondering what of the consequences of Loki's attempted takeover of earth, Thor's relationship with Jane ( who was sent away in The Avengers ) as well as life on Asgard. Well thanks to the character's success and participation in The Avengers, we will soon find out. This like all of Marvel's upcoming releases will form part of Phase 2 for the Marvel Universe in the eventual lead up to The Avengers 2.

PLOT
Thor battles an ancient race of Dark Elves led by the vengeful Malekith who threatens to plunge the universe back into darkness after the events of The Avengers.
