REVIEW
WOW! Well done to Keanu Reeves who's now not only shown us his skill as an actor but has extended himself to the role of director in The Man of Tai Chi! Keanu, who under criticism, has been called a 2 dimensional and same character actor, really proves himself capable of sitting in a director's chair.

The movie is reminiscent of Jean Claude Van Damme movies, Bloodsport especially and the story has been done many times before. However, this movie does have it's merits. It's simplistic in it's design but has enough to keep one captivated. The Kung Fu / Tai Chi fight scenes are interesting to watch.

Keanu plays the role of number one bad guy, Donaka Mark, and tries really hard to be evil but something about Reeves demeanour doesn't quite work even though I enjoyed him in the role. Go and see The Man of Tai Chi especially if you enjoy martial arts movies and Neo himself!

* Look out for the fight scene at the end where Keanu shows us how much Kung Fu he remembers as he battles the movies hero....
