THE CONJURING II (2015) ... If You Thought The First Movie Was SCARY, Think again!!!

 

New Line have just announced that there will be a sequel to their scary box office smash hit, The Conjuring (2013)! Let the excitement begin, the first one saw James Wan directing Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, both of whom will return for the sequel, as paranormal investigators, the Warrens. You will also remember the Conjuring's spin-off Annabelle is also currently in production.

    Here's what Variety has to say   "New Line had already begun development of a sequel before the movie opened last July. Chief exec  Toby Emmerich told Variety in December that “Conjuring 2” would tap a similar vein as the first film, which largely avoided conventional horror film ploy while exploring demonic possession.   The team of Carey Hayes and Chad Hayes, who penned “The Conjuring,” came on board as writers for the sequel last summer. The brothers interviewed Lorraine Warren extensively as part of developing the script.   Emmerich has said  Wan is expected to be involved in some capacity with the sequel."
