Thus far the rebooted Star Trek movies have been more than impressive and caught on by a new generation of younger cinemagoers and fan base with the injection of start of the art effects and a great cast rounding off the balance, not to mention director J.J. Abrams at the helm of the first two movies, These movies also seamlessly created a whole other alternate version of events which led us to this revived franchise.
This time around JJ Abrams has been replaced by Fast and Furous 3 - 6 director, Justin Lin who after proving himself with the aforementioned movies would prove to be a welcome addition to the new Star Trek movie and it means that both the story and the action will be taken to the threshold!
The movie stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Idris Elba. Star Trek Beyond should be hitting theatres around 22 July 2016.
