2014 seems to be the year of Hercules, first with the Hercules movie being made with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Hercules 3D renamed Hercules: The Legend Begins (2014). Director Renny Harlin ( The Long Kiss Goodnight and Die Hard 2 ) co wrote the script and brings us a new version of the son of Zeus.
The movie stars amongst others, Twilight star, Kellan Lutz, as well as Scott Adkins and Johnathan Schaech. Look for a release date around March 2014.
PLOT
This is the story of a young man who comes to terms with who he is and how he has much more responsibility. His father is Zeus and his mother was mortal, and he has a much bigger mission in his life. It's about fulfilling your destiny and responsibilities. It's an epic adventure story and he wants to be reunited with this girl who was ripped away from him.
