An interesting premise and an already established fanbase. I remember watching the original version as a young boy. The entire family would be ready and waiting for Sunday nights to see each episode as they aired. Now many moons have passed and we see a remake so to speak. I think by today's standards I personally would have loved the series to have been grittier and darker, a CSI, if you will. Whilst I do think Kristin Kreuk is stunning, I really have a hard time seeing her as a detective.
So if you want to see eye candy and nothing too serious then give this a look. Don't expect anything we havent seen before or anything that'll blow your mind. Just popcorn fodder and an interesting way to kill an hour.
PLOT
A modern day retelling of the Beauty and Beast fairytale, this update uses military medical experimentation to create "Beast" with the down side of there being no "Magic Cure" to resolve what's been done to him.
