An official announcement has been made that finally verifies to fans everywhere that YES, there will be a Justice League movie. One only has to gaze at the wave of success which Marvel has been riding with their superhero movies to gauge that this may be a movie of exciting and ginormous proportions.
With a great script, director and the right actors, anything can be achieved. I'm sure their isn't a comic book fan anywhere who isn't rejoicing in this news as it means we finally get to see all our favourite characters across DC and Marvel gracing us with their presence.
However, one must remember that whilst DC Comics have done brilliantly with the Superman and Batman characters and movies, they have also failed with others such as Green Lantern who had the right actors and director but sadly just couldn't tap into the box office success of it's predecessors.
Let's hope all goes well for the Justice League movie and the DC Comics stable so that everyone will be pleased.

The studio and DC Entertainment has been considering several options for its superhero films, including a “Man of Steel” sequel for 2015, a Flash movie in 2016 and the Justice League film for 2017.
Warner Bros. has indicated that it planned to bring back Superman for a 2015 film if “Man of Steel” performed up to expectations. The film’s worldwide box office has hit $622 million since its June 14 launch. ”The Dark Knight Rises,” starring Bale, topped $1 billion in global box office last year.
It would also move the Burbank studio closer to its long-planned all-star superhero pic “Justice League” — finally fully exploiting its DC Comics library beyond Batman and Superman.
“Justice League” would bring to the screen such characters as Aquaman, the Flash, Wonder Woman and another Green Lantern, whose costly 2011 predecessor flopped.

So not only could we be seeing a Justice League movie but also a Flash movie as well as a Superman / Batman collaboration. Whichever way, the fans are the winners! Marvel vs DC! Let the war begin!!!
