REVIEW
All fans of Kick Ass will definitely be interested in this one. It does everything required of a sequel, badder and larger than life villains and life ending scenarios for our heroes at every turn.

The movie goes further than the first to a world now that has costumed heroes everywhere except for Kick-Ass and Hit Girl, who have been living their lives trying to blend in. This is easier for Kick-Ass than to Hit Girl, who has problems coming to terms with and adjusting to being a normal teenager.
It's not long till events throw their world into disarray and our heroes are forced once again to don their outfits and save the day.

Jim Carrey brings his acting experience as Colonel Stars and Stripes. The lead characters are the same as before and return to their roles with relative ease. Whilst I enjoyed this as a movie, admittedly I enjoyed the first one more. The need for a world where normal people with absolutely no powers is stretched to the limit here. The ending I found a little unsatisfying in comparison to the original and Red Mist's metamorphosis into The Mother F*cker is not focused on as much as it should've been.

With so many different and increasingly bigger superhero movies being brought to our theatres, Kick Ass 2 is just a bit below par, even though it built itself it's own tiny niche in the genre.

When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world's first superhero team with Mindy. Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she's forced to retire-leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes. Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world's first super villain, The Mother F*cker, assembles his ...
