Now here's a movie that pleasantly suprised me. Its stars some well known actors including Elizabeth Banks ( Zach Miri Make a Porno, Meet Dave ) and Arielle Kebble ( American Pie: Band Camp, Reeker, The Grudge 2 )
SPOILER: The movie revolves around a young girl, who after losing her mother under mysterious circumstances, gets admitted to a "mental" institution. This is where the movie begins. She's then released and lives with her father, his new girlfriend and an older sister. She meets up with her sister who also shares in her distaste of her father's new lover. People start dying as our lead character starts discovering details relating to her mother's death and one begins to wonder who the killer really is.
REVIEW: I found this movie suprisingly entertaining, like most Dreamworks thrillers, but the work has stolen bits and pieces from other movies in the genre i.e. Sixth Sense and What Lies Beneath, to name a few. That said it's extremely watchable and has a nice twist ending which is always enjoyable if you didn't see it coming ( and I totally didn't )
SCORE: A well deserved 6 popcorn out of 10
MOVIE TRAILER:
MOVIE BABE:
Arielle Kebbel always leaves a lasting impression!
