STORY

Dan Burns is a single father who dedicates his life to his children, but one day he meets Marie at a bookstore. They get to know each other, but then Dan finds out that Marie is actually dating his brother

REVIEW Dan in Real Life really showcases the acting talent of Steve Carrell. It shows a side of him that seems to be rarely brought out in his movies and poses a more dramatic role last seen in Little Miss Sunshine.

The movie is a wonderful little masterpiece, exploring relationships, love and the dynamics of parenting and family life. There are moments in this movie that tug at the heart strings and more than once I found a tear in my eye.
