What we do know is that he appeared in court for the first time and we know that he lived close by to the theatre. We also know that he had on his person at the time of the shooting, two pistols, an assault rifle and a shotgun.

These shootings have caused widespread alarm including screenings of The Dark Knight Rises being blocked in France, New York screenings monitored by authorities as well as an obvious tiny slump in earnings for the release. The movie however did open a smidge better than its predecessor, The Dark Knight proving its strength over the past weekend and overcoming the bad press from the shootings..
