REVIEW
An elusive ex CIA operative ( Jim Caviezel ) and an eccentric billionaire ( Michael Emmerson )join forces to help people based on the predictions from a machine built to assist the American government in stopping terrorist attacks.
Such is the premise of the story. Now without judgement I gotta say that I was very sceptical when I first saw Person of Interest but as the season plays out, the characters start growing on you. Both Caviezel and Emmerson play their respective roles well and though slow at times, the character development is extremely interest though struggling at times.
Each episode has its own story with a second plot playing throughout the season. I think all the subplots invoved do make this worth watching.
Another great attraction to the show is the "Conspiracy" approach. I'm sure many people are already aware of the Big Brother situation and age we live in enough to even ponder whether or not such a technology could actually exist. We live in a world of interesting and twisted paranoia and this so lovingly nurtures these emotions and thoughts ( so much so that after watching a few episodes back to back, I had to take a break from the show......!!!! )
All in all a good show and I look forward to seeing how the overall series and characters develop. I recommend this show to anyone who enjoys there action shows with a serving of storyline. You won't regret giving this one a look..........
