I never read the books but after watching the first movie, Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, I became a big fan. The movie broken down is about family, the bonds between a boy and his father and friendship. Slick effects and awesome cameos ( Uma Thurman and Pierce Brosnan ) made this movie very watchable and enjoyable.I do however feel the movie was overshadowed by the Twilight movies and the resurrection of Clash of the Titans, which are similar in their stories but one aiming at teens and the other at serious movie fans as well as being a remake. All this aside though, I do look forward to seeing Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.
PLOT
In order to restore their dying safe haven, the son of Poseidon and his friends embark on a quest to the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece and to stop an ancient evil from rising.
