REVIEW
What a brilliant movie for any DC Superhero fan and fans of the Justice League or even fans of each of the heroes in their individuality. The story fits in perfectly with the type of movies which have been released lately, i.e. Christopher Nolan's Batman and Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. There is a dark grittiness to it that creates an appeal amongst kids and their parent as well as comic book fans on the whole.
Any story that pits a moral dilemma for our hero ( Barry Allen / The Flash ) with consequences on a global scale that impact every single hero on the planet is awesome in my book and has my attention. Hal Jordan dies before becoming a Green Lantern, Superman is captured and held in a government facility from being found as a baby having crash landed. Wonder Woman and Aquaman at war after Wonder Woman kills Aquaman's wife causing a war between the Amazonians and the Atlanteans that will affect the future of the planet and humanity. A world where Batman is not Bruce Wayne but rather his father, Thomas, who is far more brutal than Bruce
I'm very impressed with this movie and could actually see it as a platform perhaps for the rumoured Justice League live action movie after the success of Man of Steel and perhaps a nice introduction for a live action Flash. I had more fun with this than the last outing, Superman Unbound (2013). Well done DC on a brilliant Justice League animated movie. This one is definitely one worth watching!
PLOT
An alteration of the timeline for the superhero, The Flash, creates ripples that disastrously alters the Universe. The Flash must team with other heroes to restore the timeline while the Earth is ravaged by a war between Aquaman's Atlantis and Wonder Woman's Amazons
