GREMLINS!!! How To Take Care of Your Mogwai!

So you've seen the Gremlin movies or maybe not, but what if someone gave you a Mogwai as a gift, would you know how to take care of it? Taking care of a Mogwai is extremely simple as long as you adhere to the three simple rules.... yup, only 3 simple rules.

Perhaps even the most careful individuals need to ensure that these rules are followed and not faulter or break them even in the slightest way. Failing to adhere to these rules could result in disastrous consequences so get your pen and paper ready and jot down the following...

1. DO NOT EXPOSE THEM TO BRIGHT LIGHT!

Bright light is extremely dangerous to a Mogwai as their DNA has not evolved to withstand the light.

The light is so damaging that your Mogwai could die if exposed to enough bright light.

A normal room lamp is fine but anything brighter or even direct sunlight is a definte no.

We don't know if it's the ultra violet or just the composition of light which causes them harm but until further tests are done, do not expose your Mogwai to light.

2. DO NOT FEED THEM AFTER MIDNIGHT

Now some may argue this may be the most important of all the rules but bear in mind that ultimately all three rules are important in maintaining a healthy and happy Mogwai.

You should NEVER, and I mean never feed your Mogwai after midnight.

Whose the idiot asking why? I'll tell you why... once the Mogwai is fed after midnight he will encase himself in a cocoon and go through a very drastic metamorphosis becoming a very, very bad Gremlin and let me tell you, you do not want to have to deal with one of those.....ever!!

have a look at the image below and see what it is your Mogwai transforms into. Trust me, you cannot control a Gremlin and I don't care how responsible you think you are, a Gremlin is uncontrollable!

3. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GET THEM WET!

Rule number three.... now you may be thinking what's a little water going to do? Just a drop couldn't possibly hurt? I'm going to bath him.... get those damn thoughts out of your head because if you can't follow these simple rules taking care of a single Mogwai then how do you possibly think you could take care of 2 or 10 or even 100?

The water rule is as follows, they will multiply and the amount depends on how much water falls onto your Mogwai. This is something you do not want to experience!

Please, please keep your Mogwai away from any and all water sources, this includes taps, a glass of water, a swimming pool and God only knows what will happen in the ocean and / or a lake or dam. No water!

Right and that's about it. So if you think these rules are simple enough and easy to follow, you have my blessing, go ahead and get a Mogwai and take care of him.

Just remember, any abuse of the three rules will result in a problem you could not  handle. You have been warned....
