All high octane Fast and Furious fans, I have news that's going to blow your minds and cause some serious mental over-revving!! The internet can be extremely unreliable when it comes to entertainment news but more than two different sources, including Filmofilia and Sky Movies, Lucas Black star of Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift is returning to the extremely highly profitable franchise.
This is very interesting as the events from Fast & Furious were supposed to precede the Tokyo Drift story so I'm extremely intrigued by the news, considering the last time we saw Black, he was racing Vin Diesel, the former D.K.! It's also been reported that Black has signed on for Fast and Furious 7, 8 and 9!! Long live the franchise which only seems to be getting bigger and bigger.
Yesterday, Rope of Silicon, reported that Djimon Hounsou has also joined the cast, however his role has not been disclosed as yet. This could also be due to the fact that shooting on the new movie has just started.
The definite news is that Jason Statham has already joined the cast for Fast and Furious 7. So action fans and motorheads are going to definitely have their fill when it comes to the new 'Fast' movies especially since they seem to be speeding up their box office mileage in pure cash! I can't wait!
