MURDER SHE WROTE ... Coming Soon but Minus Angela Lansbury!

 

  Many of us, myself included, sat and watched Murder, She Wrote with our family during our formative years. We watched Angela Lansbury solve murder after murder and let's face it, there's never an episode where a murder doesn't occur. We knew that no matter how difficult the scenario around a murder scene is and no matter how complicated it was, Lansbury would solve it.   Now decades later, Murder, She Wrote is coming back to our TV screens. Yes you heard correct, it's coming back but sadly all you die-hard fans will have to now do without Angela Lansbury! Grab a tissue and cry about it.     NBC have committed to bringing us a re-imagining with Oscar winner Octavia Spencer (The Help) taking over the reigns from Angela Lansbury as the famed writer who solves murders as they obviously going to happen in every weeks episodes.   Written by “Desperate Housewives” executive producer Alexandra Cunningham, it’s described by NBC as a “light, contemporary procedural, in the vein of ‘Bones’ or ‘Fargo.’
