Director Mark Waters brings the Richelle Mead's novel to cinematic life. Water has previously directed movies such as Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Mr. Poppers Penguins and Mean Girls and shows he knows how to make teen movies so his understanding and visualisation will definitely bring life to these characters.
In terms of cast, there's a mixture of seasoned and young actors. Olga Kurylenko, Gabriel Byrne and Joely Richardson team up with younger generation such as Modern Family's Sarah Hyland as well as Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry.
Look out for Vampire Academy heading to theatres around Valentines Day 2014.
