YES, YOU READ RIGHT!!! Spider-Man and superhero fans take note.... it has now been confirmed that there is a Venom movie that's going to be made. How frigging AWESOME IS THAT?!!!
Now before you think this news is only rumour let me say this, Sony has confirmed that the stand-alone Venom movie will be written by the brilliant team of Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman! The movie will be directed by Alex Kurtzman.
Ok for those who don't know Orci and Kurtzman have been involved with some of the biggest movies over the past few years and have expanded their horizons to television with the hit show, Sleepy Hollow as well as previous TV shows like Fringe and the revamped Hawaii 5-0. Their brilliant partnership has created hit movies such as The Proposal, Transformers, Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.
I personally can'y think of anyone more qualified to write and direct this movie than the team of Orci and Kurtzman who seem to turn everything they touch into gold! So hold on to your seats as the world prepares for Spider-man's ultimate arch-enemy Venom in his very own movie. I can't wait!
