BLENDED (2014) ... ADAM SANDLER & DREW BARRYMORE Team Up Yet Again!!! 3RD Time Lucky?

 

  Adam Sandler has been missing the mark over the past few years with his biggest recent hit having been the animated movie Hotel Transylvania whilst falling at the box-office with movies like That's My Boy and . The movie is directed by Frank Coraci who worked with Barrymore and Sandler in their first outing together in the hilarious The Wedding Singer as well as Sandler's other movies including The Waterboy and Click.   Sandler and Barrymore star together for the third time, their previous collaborations having been The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates which worked very well for the duo. Let's hope this will be a true return to form for Sandler who used to reign the box office as a comedy king in earlier decades. Look for this one in theatres around May 2014.     PLOT Recently divorced mother of two boys, LAUREN REYNOLDS, and widowed father of three girls, JIM FRIEDMAN, have a disastrous blind date that puts them off dating for the foreseeable future. However, when the two purchase a discount “Familymoon” vacation from Lauren’s best friend and business partner, JEN, they wind up at an African resort with their kids in tow.
