TAMMY (2014) ... MELISSA MCCARTHY / SUSAN SARANDON Are An EPIC Comedy Duo!!!

 

 

I Have always liked Melissa McCarthy movies and her take on comedy. With her hits which include Bridesmaids, The Heat and Identity Thief, she's built quite the fan following and with her extremely successful Chuck Lorre comedy series Mike & Molly we all have come to know and love McCarthy and her special brand of humour. She's brash and she doesn't give a damn. McCarthy not only acts in this movie but co-wrote and produced it!

 

Now throw in Susan Sarandon, Dan Ackroyd, Allison Janney and Kathy Bates and we have movie that's worth watching. The movie is directed by McCarthy's husband, Ben Falcone and produced by comedian Will Farrell and partner, Adam McKay. Look out for Tammy around early July 2014.

 

 

PLOT  Tammy (Melissa McCarthy) is having a bad day. She’s totaled her clunker car, gotten fired from her thankless job at a greasy burger joint, and instead of finding comfort at home, finds her husband getting comfortable with the neighbor in her own house. It’s time to take her boom box and book it. The bad news is she’s broke and without wheels. The worse news is her grandma, Pearl (Susan Sarandon), is her only option—with a car, cash, and an itch to see Niagara Falls. Not exactly the escape Tammy had in mind. But on the road, with grandma riding shot gun, it may be just what Tammy needs.  MOVIE TRAILER
