REVIEW
The American Fall TV series race has begun. Having just reviewed Marvel's Agents of Shield, we may possibly be in line to see some pretty damn good shows with big budgets, large ensemble casts and action up the wazoo. The Blacklist definitely falls under all those categories.
Now I usually see if a show can enthral me within the first five or so minutes and The Blacklist definitely did. Ok, saying that, the show has parallels to Hannibal in that we have a dangerous criminal and a profiler who he alone wants to speak to. However, that's about where the parallel ends. There's enough action to satisfy the toughest of couch potatoes and an intriguing storyline, enough to hold you entranced.

The cast includes the always fabulous James Spader, who as usual steals the show from everyone else in any scene. The pilot is directed by Joe Carnahan who is known for directing big screen movies such as The Grey, The A-Team and Smokin' Aces. His experience shows here and fans know they in for huge action sequences and an explosive storyline.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Blacklist and really look forward to seeing more episodes. The show definitely has potential to very good. Look out for it.
