STORY: Jason Voorhees is back! Wait let me start again, This is the origin story of Jason Voorhess, a remake. Jason is left to drown at Camp Crystal Lake, by the camp counsellors. His mother, bent on revenge for her son's death, hunts and kills all but one camp counsellor who manages to kill Jason's mother with her own machete, all the while Jason, who mysteriously is ressurected , is watching and ready to avenge his mother's death. Jason kills two groups of youngsters. Clay, who is looking for his sister, arrives around the same time as the second group at Camp Crystal Lake. He must find his sister and try and stop the madman. REVIEW: In remake terms this is as good as it gets. The pace moves quickly and like me, you could miss crucial parts if you don't stay attentive. Jason is different to the one we knew from before. This one seems very intelligent and the killing scenes are as violent and as creative as they come. Michael Bay ( Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Pearl Harbour ) produces while TV watchers will recognise Jared Padalecki ( Supernatural, House of Wax ). All in all an excellent remake and Jason is even more terrifying than ever before!
