STORY: A Detective seeks answers and revenge for the death of his wife. The case has been closed but he continues his search. He gets a break when he ties a wing tattoo to that of one of his wife's murderers and discovers that the company his wife worked for had something to do with her death. People start dying around Max and he becomes the subject of an investigation by Internal Affairs. With the police department on his tail, he must uncover the truth, clear his name and solve his wife's murder. REVIEW: Where to start, where to start? The movie has big names like Mark Wahlberg ( The Happening, The Italian Job ), Beau Bridges ( The Fabulous Baker Boys ), Ludacris ( Crash ), Olga Kurylenko ( Hitman, Quantum of Solace ) and Chris O' Donnell ( Vertical Limit ) to name a few. The cinematography is brilliant, all scenes either have snow falling or rain and the movie sees 95% of it shot at night. Clearly alot was spent on the budget of this movie and while I did find it entertaining, I did have a feeling something was missing from it. Gamers will also recognise the Bullet-time scenes as depicted during gameplay of the video game
SCORE: 6 popcorn out of 10
MOVIE TRAILER:
