STORY: The story takes place in a small mining community. Miners are trapped and found dead. Many people believe the mine owner's son is to blame after confessing that he didn't "bleed the line". After recovering the bodies, we find out that the miners were murdered and the only surviving miner is in fact the killer. The killer however is in a coma. The killer wakes up and escapes the authorities. Several youngsters including the mine owners son have a party inside the mine where the accident happened. Suddenly the killer appears in gas mask and mining outfit and starts killing again.Years later the mine owner's son returns to sell the mine and at the same time the killing start again!
REVIEW:
The story is good, the acting befits the genre and the overall look of the movie is smooth. There is a nice pace to the movie and it never drags. The movie stars some good tv actors like Jensen Ackles ( Supernatural ), Kerr Smith ( Dawson's Creek )and Jamie King ( Gary Unmarried ). I would have loved to have seen this at the cinema in 3D as it was meant to be watched but even in 2D the movie stands out. This says alot as the movie could've totally relied on the 3D mechanism to make it work but it doesn't and the story is still played off nicely. Check this one out guys, the slasher movie is back with a vengeance!
