STORY:A team of scientists working for Lex Luthor uncovers an alien craft. Doomsday is released into the general public and only our friend in the red and blue costume can stop him....or can he? Doomsday destroys everything in his path including an incredible battle with Superman ending up with Doomsday murdering the Kryptonian. Not long after Superman's death, he suddenly re-appears but something is different about him somehow. REVIEW: The movie utilises the voice talents of Adam Baldwin ( Chuck )& Anne Heche ( I Know What You Did Last Summer ) as the lead characters. Warner Brothers did an excellent job with the animation and storyline. I did however have find it interesting that the actual story of Superman's death was different from the one depicted in the comic books. The Doomsday / Superman death match was a bit of a let down as one almost expects more blood, violence, explosions etc. For what it's worth however, it doesn't hurt to take a look at this movie and enjoy watching Superman get his ass kicked hard ( for once ). SCORE: A brutal 7 popcorn out of 10
