REVIEW
Lets just get to the point shall we? This movie won't be everyones taste. These days when you hear sci-fi immediately we get pictures of space battleships or giant robots etc but how many times have you actually seen a solid drama with a sci-fi twist.
The sci-fi aspect of the movie is so miniscule and yet such a major part of the entire storyline. This movie is so brilliantly done that one can only appreciate the excellent story involved.
Don't go into this looking for huge CGI effects because then you're gonna be totally mistaken. This movie is ultimately a drama at its core and a revelation in the sci-fi genre. Well done to all involved for giving a breath of fresh air to Hollywood. With all the many, many scheduled remakes, its nice to see an original piece of work.
Brit Marling not only stars in the movie but also shares the writing credits with the director and her personal investment and take on the main character can be seen through her portrayal of Rhonda.
