REVIEW
Going in to this movie, I really had no idea of a storyline or type of movie it was other than what was shown on the DVD box i rented. No famous actors or recognisable director and nothing really to go on, so with no preconcieved ideas whatsoever, i dove into it.
At first sight the movie resembles so many of this "lost footage" genre started so famously with the Blair Witch and now the Paranormal Activity movies. Theres only so much you can do with this genre and every possible variation of it has already been done, so whats so special about this one?
I was pleasantly surprised! Not only does the movie impress but it literally creates a new variation of its genre. The storyline is very simple and uncomplicated with a strong focus on the main character Andrew and his rise and fall.
The special effects are seamless and give strength to the overall feel of the movie. With a shoestring budget of $12 million dollars, the movie made a worldwide total of $125 million!!! Amazing!
Go out and rent this one guys, its worth the 84 minutes! All in all a suprisingly good disguised superhero movie!
