REVIEW
The female Bad Boys A.K.A. Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock show us a brand new take on the buddy cop genre. For me it was truly intriguing to see the established Bullock go head to head with McCarthy, though it is McCarthy whose comedy styles almost seems to overwhelm Bullock.

The Heat is a funny movie and there are scenes which I found totally hysterical. I must add that it's nice to see Bullock return to this kind of comedy. The chemistry between Bullock and McCarthy is interesting to watch throughout the movie.

The movie centres around an arrogant show off F.B.I. agent ( Bullock ) who wants a promotion and needs to work with a local cop ( McCarthy ) to solve the case and move up the ranks of the agency. I miss seeing Bullock in these type of comedies and it may be a while till we see her doing it again so relish in the skills of the 2 main actresses.

PLOT
Uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn is paired with testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins in order to take down a ruthless drug lord. The hitch: neither woman has ever had a partner -- or a friend for that matter.
