REVIEW
Now You See Me is a fun filled action comedy the keeps you constantly guessing. I'm proud to say that I figured out the ending though it was 1 of at least 100 different scenarios I envisioned. The movie plays out like a magicians guide to Oceans Eleven. I haven't had so much fun with a movie in a while.
The cast in itself is impressive with Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and as The Four Horsemen we have Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco. Let's not overlook the always interesting Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes, the man in charge of bringing the four magicians in and proving their crime.
The movie plot twists and turns throughout it's duration and is more than enough to keep you glued to the screen throughout, not wanting to miss a second because you may miss an important aspect. I did however, as mentioned earlier, find aspects of Oceans Eleven and Fast Five with regards to the mystery of how the money is being stolen but admittedly this is a different take on the art of stealing money.
Caine and Freeman finish the ensemble cast bringing with them their own brand of acting magic to the movie. Missing this movie would be an injustice to yourself, especially if you enjoy crime capers. Tons of fun, stacks of illusion and a mystery that keeps you gripped till the very end.
PLOT
An FBI agent and an Interpol detective track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money.
