According to TheWrap, Producers, Sean Daniels, Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci, are searching for a new director for their Mummy reboot now that Len Wiseman ( director of Underworld, Live Free and Die Hard, Total Recall ) has left the project.
The producers envision a darker, scarier Mummy, saying that they will be drawing inspiration from author Michael Crichton.
Whilst this seems to be the trend lately in Hollywood, one has to wonder how long the fad of rebooting movies will continue, seeing as The Mummy Trilogy ended barely a few years ago and already we're getting a reboot!
