REVIEW
Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright ( director of Marvel's Ant-Man ) team up for the final chapter in their brilliant comedic Cornetto trilogy. Fans who have followed the series, which started with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz will definitely not be disappointed.
We meet Gary ( Simon Pegg ) who gets all his high school friends together to complete a pub run or Golden Mile by drinking a pint at 12 different pubs ending at The World's End. Through deception, lies and some arm twisting, he convinces his mates and they start their pub hopping adventure.
When Gary goes to bathroom at one of the pubs, he encounters a young man and they get into a fight, which results in the adolescent's head coming right off. That's when the rest of the friends come in and they all realise that things are not what they seem.
What follows is an hilariously funny sci-fi journey as we discover that The World's End pub may very well be the World's end. Pegg and Frost are on top performance with this one. The movie may also be described as a coming of age event for the group as they realise how much has changed since they were in high school and the responsibilities of their actions. But don't be fooled. These guys will have you laughing from beginning to end and plenty of awesome CGI to keep your eyes entertained.
