According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett who brought us History Channels 13 hour mini series, The Bible, are now bringing us Son of God. The movie will be based on The Bible mini series and will be released around 28 February 2014 in theatres in the US.
This is definitely not the first time Jesus has been portrayed in theatres, who could forget The Passion of The Christ (2004) and Jesus Christ Superstar (1973). Have a look at the trailers below.
